Passion. Passion is what makes you jump out of bed in the morning. Passion is what sets your heart on fire and illuminates the path ahead. It’s your love, your purpose, and your dream. Passions drive your actions. They form who we are and who we want to be. Passion is everything.
I am passionate about education.
As far back as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a teacher. To me, my teachers weren’t just ordinary people who were with me Monday through Friday. My teachers were my heroes. They were people who I looked up to, people who inspired me to go out into the world and do great things, and people who believed in me when I failed to believe in myself. The thought of spending my life in a classroom, interacting with high school students on a daily basis, and knowing that I’ve helped them, whether that be academically or personally, gives me purpose and I can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else. I am passionate about leadership
Before high school, I never considered myself a leader. I assumed that leaders were only CEO’s of major corporations or political figures. It wasn’t until I joined my high school’s student leadership class when I realized that true leadership is shown everyday by ordinary people like you and me. Leadership is bettering yourself, helping others, bettering your community, and bettering your world. Leadership has inspired me to continue to push myself to BE better everyday and I can’t imagine my life without leadership.
I am passionate about helping others
I would not be the person I am today without the guidance of my Mom, family, friends, teachers, and mentors who have helped me grow into the person I am today. I am forever grateful for the people who never gave up on me and were always there to help me wherever my journey guided me. Both my passions for teaching and leadership have also created a lifelong passion in me to help others in any way I possibly can.
